HOW IT
WORKS
Every street in the registry has one owner. That owner could be you. Here is everything you need to know — from finding your street to claiming it for £1.
Find Your Street
Browse the interactive map or search by name. Every named street in the city is listed. One owner per street, ever. Green means available. Gold means it's already taken. Orange means it's listed for resale.
Pay £1
Click the street, click claim, pay £1. Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. No subscription. No renewal. No hidden costs. You pay once and it's yours.
Add Your Details
When you claim your street, add your name (or a business name), a link (website, Instagram, TikTok, anything), and a tagline — one line about you or what you do. These appear permanently on the public map.
Your Street Goes Live
Once your payment is confirmed your street turns gold on the map within seconds. Anyone browsing the registry can click it and see your details. It stays yours permanently — no one else can ever claim it.
Trade It Anytime
Want to sell? List your street at any price from £5 upwards. When it sells you keep 85% — ODS takes 15%. The registry entry transfers automatically.
Do I own the actual street?
No. ODS is a digital novelty registry. You own a digital registry entry referencing that street name — not legal ownership of any physical land, road or property. This carries no government recognition.
Can I change my name, link or tagline later?
In exceptional circumstances only. Email support@onedollarstreets.com with your certificate ID and we will review your request. Changes are limited to protect the integrity of the registry.
Is my ownership really permanent?
Yes. No renewals, no subscriptions. Once you have paid £1 your street is yours for as long as ODS exists. We hold your entry in our registry indefinitely.
What cities are currently available?
We are live across London (all 33 boroughs), Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol, Sheffield, Newcastle, Nottingham, Cardiff, Glasgow and Edinburgh. More cities are being added regularly.
Can I buy more than one street?
Yes — as many as you like. Each street is a separate £1 purchase. Some people collect entire neighbourhoods.
Is this an investment product?
No. ODS is a digital novelty product and is not regulated by the FCA. We make no claims about future value. Resale value is determined entirely by what a buyer is willing to pay.
What if my street doesn't appear on the map?
Some streets may not show as map pins due to incomplete location data from our mapping provider. All streets are available to claim via the search bar and street list. If your street is missing entirely, email support@onedollarstreets.com and we will add it.
